A Maryland Rabbi, David A. Kaye (56), was netted in a television sting operation, trying to solicit sex from a 13-year-old boy over the internet. Dateline NBC, with the help of Perverted-Justice.com, featured Rabbi David Kaye on their To Catch a Predator, where Rabbi Kaye lost his mind on camera after being confronted by Chris Hansen.

He was later arrested, charged, and eventually convicted for his crimes. The US Department of Justice gave him 6.5 years in federal prison for traveling to another state to engage in a sexual encounter with an under-aged boy he arranged online to meet (two different offenses - 2422(b) Coercion and Enticement and 2423(b) Travel With Intent to Engage in Illicit Sexual Contact), as well as obstructing justice (Kaye tried to delete evidence and perjured himself, to no avail). David Kaye is also getting 10 years of supervision after he gets out of prison, and lifetime sex offender registration. Rabbi David Kaye will be 70 years old, by the time he's out and no longer on parole.

While the Rabbinical Assembly can't rescind his smicha, entitling him "Rabbi" for the rest of his life, all endorsement by the RA was annulled. Life - Season 2, Episode 5 (s2e5) - "Crushed" - A worker at a tow/wrecking yard is killed on site. The investigation has the team question fellow workers as well as the family of Arthur Grey, an ex-badass who cleaned up is life and now is a music mogul. The episode will also focus on the widow of a police officer who was accidentally killed 20 years ago. The widow was told it was suicide but there is more to this death. Some students who attend Ted's business school class are more interested in learning how to cheat the system than following the laws and rules.
